John learned that without the basics; a uniform, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, etc. Children couldn’t go to school.

Over the next three years, John raised money and would travel to Tacloban to purchase and distribute school supplies to the children.

So far, with the great help of Tony Bell and partners in Tacloban they have helped 3,542 children to attend school that would not have otherwise.

The Big Heart Childrens Fund was born out of this desire to provide all children an opportunity for a better life, starting with an education.
